Raven Cliffs Falls in North Georgia is a wonderful place to train for my Colorado Trail thru-hike this summer. It’s an out-and-back trail of about 2.5 miles each way, with loads of waterfall views. The terrain is moderate, and there are plenty of roots, rocks, and little hills to test my healing foot.
Sadly, this place also holds a lot of bittersweet memories, which I had tamped down deep in my soul. I need to face the demons and reclaim this place as a peaceful hike that I love.
