After a rough couple of days, the sun is shining again. My outlook is sunnier, too, thanks to the trail angels/camp hosts at the Lakeview Campground outside of Twin Lakes. I’m excited to start backpacking the Collegiate West today. I’ll be hiking up and over Hope Pass, reaching more than 12,000′ feet in elevation!
