Today I get to revisit Sunken Gardens, a place that’s full of childhood nostalgia for me. I grew up in St. Petersburg and we often brought friends and relatives here when they were visiting Florida.
Sunken Gardens is nearly 100 years old now, and it’s still a legendary “Old Florida” roadside attraction. Famous for its flamingos and lush, exotic landscapes, this is a wonderful destination if you’ve visiting St. Pete and need a break from the beach!
