Rocky Mountain High
When I learned I couldn’t return to the PCT this year due to my foot injury, I started looking for another long trail to backpack once I healed up. At around 500 miles, the Colorado Trail was the perfect length, and the timing was right too (peak season is July-August.)
A few friends from my AT family hiked this trail before me and the views they shared made me really excited to tackle hiking in Colorado. So here I go!
